Partnership opportunity with athletes Hamish Kerr and Tom Walsh at AAT
Hi Revved crew! The Commonwealth Games are coming up in Glasgow 2026, and I wanted to share a unique publicity opportunity that you and/or your business could leverage alongside athletic legends Hamish Kerr and Tom Walsh.
I’m on the Advisory Board for the Aotearoa Athletics Trust that they founded (www.https://www.aotearoaathleticstrust.com/) to help bridge the gap for athletes that qualify for major world championships but have a significant funding gap in order to compete - which means many miss out or experience financial hardship. This includes the Commonwealth Games team... YES... there will be athletes that have worked their whole lives to qualify, and still don't receive adequate funding to cover the competition. That is just the nature of sport in NZ that isn't rugby... and we're trying to bring equality back to the black.
We’re in the process of finalising big ticket items for an online auction launching soon, and I said I’d put my feelers out. If you have something money-can't-buy, an experience, top tier product, workshops, anything else that you think might fit the bill to help us raise money for our Comms Games team - please get in touch with me to discuss.
